Taiwan High Mountain Oolong is the crown jewel of all Taiwan teas.  It is a world famous tea type and the most representative tea of Taiwan.

Taiwan High Mountain Oolong refers to soft stem oolong, Chin Shin oolong or Jinxuan that are planted more than 1000 meters above sea level.  There are plenty of rain and heavy fog in the high mountain area with high humidity.  The quality of the sprout tea is excellent with a high degree of tenderness.  Also, in high mountain areas, sun exposure time is shorter resulting in lower catechin content reducing astringency.  The tea taste is sweet, rich and mellow with a long lingering sensation.  With the refined and elegant fragrance, the tea can go through many steepings so you can enjoy the richness and the complexity of the different layers of flavor.
